I hung out with my friend Nicole the other day. AThis girl is one of the most animated and enthusiastic people that I know. ABesides her own adventures, she and I have had some good ones over the years. AI bring up Nicole, because she had the best visual description as to how my life is…
“Kara- This is your life! You are EVERYWHERE. AAll over the place.” AYep. AThat’s about right.
And so this blog might seem neither here nor there, but it’s part of my all over the place life. AI fly as a flight attendant. AI freelance as a social media strategist. AI write press releases for othersAsometimes. AIAhave this book projectAthat I am looking for an agent to represent. AI have decided to ‘Throw A Trip’ to somewhere in Africa (sign up for the newsletter to help stay up-to-date). AI have been wanting and working on finding sponsors for me and baby blog. AAnd I am always in different time zones, calling multiple places home. AThis is life.

Post Publishing Disclaimer- (Since initial publishing, this blog has been changed by request. AI have left the post up due to the fact that I originally spent so much time writing it. AIf you are now reading, and the story doesn’t flow, I apologize).
Added to the many things that I have found myself “everywhere” doing, is trying GNC’s Puredge product line as part of their Winter Wellness Campaign.
Being part of a sponsored marketing campaign where I get free products is great, except that I wasn’t sure what address to mail the swag to as I don’t know where I will be next. AI figured it out, but I had no suitcase room when I left that California address, so I am now in Florida sans Protein, workout recovery, and pre-workout energy powders.
I was asked to created a recipe using the chocolate protein powder before I left my California home, and was pretty thrilled with how it turned out. AIn my parent’s mostly Vegan home, I had to improvise with ingredients, substituting Carob Powder for Cocoa Powder and replacing Canola Oil for Coconut Oil. AThe recipe is NOT Vegan, because unfortunately the PUREDGE Protein Powder is not Vegan, Awhich ultimately means I probably never will actually drink it (I need to be sponsored by VEGA).
This recipe that I made though, is really good. ATry it. It’s an especially good choice for theAholiday baking season. AWhy not get some healthy protein hidden in the sweet treats you are making already?

Just because I am (mostly) vegan doesn’t mean that I believe that the only healthy lifestyle is one without meats, dairy, and cheese. AMy mama taught me everything in moderation and to live a balanced life. AA If I wasn’t vegan, I would be all about GNC Puredge products.
Now, I think I need to go listen to her and find that balance…
(GNC also makes PUREDGE protein bars that are great for travel. AThey just don’t taste very good to me. AI think the best option would be to make your own with the PUREDGE protein powder).
