‘Tis the season.
The season of giving. The season of family. Of friends. Of joyous meetings and kisses under the mistletoe. This is the time remembering the awe you first felt when you lit the Menorah candle as a kid. This is about learning what your history really means, and the importance of unity. Late night mass on Christmas Eve and opening gifts under the tree. The magic of the lights and the gravity of your beliefs. This is the time to gather. To commemorate.
‘Tis the season to celebrate.
Flight attendants don’t get the holidays off, generally speaking. Sometimes we luck out, with a little seniority and a lot of praying to the scheduling gods, we may snag a day or two away from the hustle and bustle of the airport. But for the most part, our traditions and celebrations have to work around our demanding December schedule, whether we like it or not.
But cabin crew all over the world still find ways to celebrate the Season.
And so, this December, we are asking you to join us in one mission: Let’s #celebrate the Season together.
Let us know how you celebrate, and why. Send in photos, videos and stories to email@example.com explaining your traditions, old and new. Let us know where you’ll be on your favorite Holidays, and how you’ll be celebrating.
Happy Holidays! Let’s #celebrate!
